Laverne, OKLA. – Candy, games, prizes, and more candy! What more could an elementary student ask for? They will find that, and more at the annual Laverne Fall Festival, and there will be plenty to do for the rest of the family.
The Laverne FFA Chapter is set to host their annual Fall Festival at the Laverne Ag Barn, this year in partnership with the Laverne Chamber of Commerce on October 29, 2022 from 3 P.M. to 9 P.M.
There will be numerous games designed by the Laverne FFA Chapter, Food Truck Wars, Car Shows, and a parking lot party with live music by The Ransom Note from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M.. Games and activities will be from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. inside the ag barn. The price of the event is free, other than the purchase of food and drinks at the various food trucks.
Laverne FFA will also host a costume contest in conjunction with the childrens games. Divisions for the contest will be Pre-K and under, Kindergarten through 2nd grade, 3rd grade through 5th grade, and 6th grade and up at 6 P.M..
“Our officer team has been working really hard to put this event together for our community. We are excited to be partnering with the Laverne Chamber of Commerce to make it even better,” said Sam Scott, Laverne FFA President.
During the evening the Laverne FFA Booster Club will also have a Baked Goods Silent Auction from 5:30 P. M. to 6:30 P.M. Funds raised from this auction will help FFA members attend various camps, conferences, and contests throughout the school year.
