"Supporting Academic Excellence In Our School"

The Laverne Public School Foundation is dedicated to academic excellence.  The Foundation supports academic achievement through scholarships, grants, and awards to encourage young people to explore wider and deeper academic paths.  Former recipients of awards have indicated what a tremendous difference the Foundation has made in supporting their educational endeavors.  One past recipient said, "Not only has the scholarship benefitted me financially, but reassured me of the tremendous support I had from my community."  Another recipient indicated, "I appreciate the support the Laverne community gives to the students, both past and present.  I would encourage any and everyone to be a part of the 'leaders of tomorrow', by joining the Foundation so scholarships will be available for years to come."  Another recipient said, "After receiving the Laverne Foundation Scholarship, not only was a financial burden lifted, but I also knew that I had a handful of people back home who believed in and supported me on my journey."  Another indicated, "With the help of the Laverne Foundation Scholarship, I was able to put that money toward my books for the first semester.  It was a weight off my shoulders to be able to buy the books I needed."

The Foundation belongs to you.  Donations, memorials, fundraisers, and memberships help support the efforts of the Foundation.  The Foundation hosts an annual banquet to recognize the academic accomplishments of Laverne students.
