LAVERNE FFA SET TO HOST WESTERN WELDING ACADEMY “BLUE COLLAR TOUR”

Western Welding Academy out of Gillette, WY  plans to make a trip to Laverne as part of their annual Blue Collar Tour on Monday, January 23rd 2023.

Laverne FFA has been chosen out of numerous applicants to be a part of the 2023 Blue Collar Tour hosted by Western Welding Academy. Western Welding Academy is a welding school that is based out of Gillette, Wyoming where they train and teach people how to weld. They teach basic and advanced courses. 

Recently, they have taken to social media to expand on their work as well as share and teach with others how different welding aspects work. Their social media page has become extremely popular to people of all ages. 

Each year they choose one location from each state to be a part of their tour across the United States. Area schools have been invited to participate in the event. The instructors from Western Welding Academy will be doing welding demonstrations and hands-on activities with students along with talking about the different welding career paths that can be pursued after high school.
