LAVERNE FFA GOES TO THE OKC STATE FAIR

Laverne FFA had many students have great success at the Oklahoma City State Fair from September 15th- 25th, 2022. Laverne FFA students entered over 100 indoor exhibits. Highlights include:

  • Camdyn Kolbe- Reserve Division Champion Heifer in the Junior Show, Division Champion, and Reserve Breed Champion Heifer in the Open Show

  • Ben Scott- Division Reserve Champion in Ag Mechanics with his rocket stove 

  • Riley Mack- Division Reserve Champion in Ag Mechanics with his 3-point bale spear

  • Lakin McAtee- Reserve Division Champion in History of Agronomy

  • Jordan Dominguez- Reserve Division Champion in Agronomy with his plant life cycle poster

  • Cy Bentley- Division Champion in tame grass boards

  • Itzel Alvarez- Division Champion with her herbarium book and Grand Champion with her horticulture display

  • Kaitlin Sams- Reserve Division Champion with her boutonniere

  • Kresta Badley- Champion apples

  • Laverne FFA Officer team- 4th place mechanical educational booth

  • Junior Team Livestock Judging- 8th place overall (Kylen Kamp, Ben Scott, Selah Bentley, & Camdyn Kolbe)

  • Kylen Kamp- 9th place overall in the junior livestock judging division. 

  • Laverne FFA Agricultural Mechanics Chapter Sweepstakes Champion

58 other entries from Laverne FFA were in the top 10 in their respective classes as well. The Laverne FFA is so proud of all the student’s hard work!
