LAVERNE FFA PARTICIPATES IN THE LAVERNE 4TH OF JULY FESTIVITIES

The Laverne FFA participated in the annual 4th of July festivities in Laverne. The chapter was one of many floats in the parade where they carried the large flag which took 15 people to carry. 

“I enjoy carrying the flag because I know everyone who watches the parade looks forward to seeing it every year,” said Macy Bentley, Laverne FFA member. 

In the evening the chapter continued on the festivities where they packaged, delivered, and served almost 100 meals to the community in the park. The FFA Meals on Wheels was tasked with delivering meals to homes across Laverne to people who could not make it to the park. Meals on Wheels is one of the many community service projects the Laverne FFA participates in each year.
