Due to our busy schedule and mandated state testing in 4 subjects, students do not have allotted independent reading time during the classroom day. It is important and helpful for students to be reading outside of the classroom. To encourage this, students will be awarded for every 10 AR points that they obtain. At 100 points, students get a pizza and pop party in the classroom. Each month a student will be awarded as the Reader of the Month.

All students are required to have a minimum of 50 AR Points by the end of April to attend the end of year pizza party.
